We spent Easter in Farmington with family. We drove up Thursday afternoon so that we would have a little bit of extra time up there. We went up to Durango Friday with Jeremy's parents. Durango is not what it used to be, in terms of shopping. Durango is still the hotspot for outdoor adventurists (in other words, not me). When I was growing up, Durango had a bunch of outlet stores. Now, for the most part, it has turned into trinkets and trash stores. There are still a few cool stores, but not what it used to be. We walked down Main Street and took Brogan to see the Durango Silverton train. He loved seeing a real train. (I forgot my camera. I could kick myself!)
This is a picture of Brogan playing with an Easter toy he got from his Grandma and Grandpa Pecotte. This may be my favorite pic of the weekend.

Saturday we went to see Monsters vs Aliens and then came home and colored Easter eggs.

Sunday morning the Easter bunny came to visit before church. He hid Brogan's entire Easter basket. Once Brogan found that he had cars in the basket, he didn't want anything to do with hunting the real eggs. Didn't the Easter Bunny talk to Santa Claus? Surely the Easter Bunny would have learned that the cars are supposed to come last.

Brogan got a bubble gun in his basket and loved it. He has become obsessed with bubbles.

Here is a pic of us after church.

These two pics crack me up. My sister took these, so I am not sure what is really going on here. But these two were next to each other in order on the camera.

This is the only pic of Brogan smiling at the camera while the other two make frownie faces. Apparently Brogan didn't get the memo.

After dinner with my family, we went over for dessert at Jeremy's parents. There they had another Easter egg hunt. This time, Brogan got it. He totally got into hunting for the eggs.

We had a great time. Brogan was so tired from all of the fun. Shortly after the egg hunt, he walked over to his Auntie Lindsey and cuddled with her until he fell asleep.
